Medical Search Engine
Health information, published research, drug labels, and textbooks.
Use research terms; avoid confidential case or patient details. Live searches go to the selected sources.
Publication types and trial status are source metadata, not evidence-quality grades or treatment recommendations.
RESEARCH COMPANION
Ask a better question.
Get related terms and likely useful source types from the knowledge index. Load local AI for generated analysis and plain-language interpretation with source references.
Optional Qwen2.5 local model: a substantial one-time download and roughly 1.6–2 GB of GPU memory. Requires a WebGPU-capable browser. Model files come from Hugging Face and MLC; prompts stay on your device during inference.

Evidence needs
context.
Health topics are supplied by MedlinePlus.gov. Publications are PubMed metadata through Europe PMC; drug labels come from DailyMed; trial records come from ClinicalTrials.gov. Metadata is not an appraisal of a paper. Trial registration and label listing do not establish efficacy or approval.
Research and educational assistance, not diagnosis, prescribing, or a prediction of patient outcomes. AI output is a draft: verify every material claim in the linked originals.
Textbooks, AI learning & privacy
The indexing bot learns a searchable representation of permitted source text. Chapter passages retain their book, authors, edition, license, and original link. Material labeled “publisher reading link only” is not downloaded or placed in AI prompts. No foundation-model weight training is performed.
Search suggestions and related terms are derived from indexed text. Generated explanations require the optional browser-local model. A small general-purpose model can misread medical or legal material; explanations are not authority. Search requests go to selected public APIs. Standard hosting logs may contain query URLs. Saved links remain in this browser.
MEDICAL SEARCH ENGINE VISITORS
Cumulative visitor map
Distinct daily visits, cumulative
Counting since 2026-10-30 (UTC). As on To the Infinity, one IP address counts once per UTC day; this is not a count of registered accounts or unique people across all time. Shared networks and automated traffic can affect totals.
Cumulative location countYour approximate current location
The map will gain public markers when locations reach three cumulative daily visits. No sample or historical visits have been added.
Your approximate current location: Columbus, US. This blue marker is shown only in your response.
Locations are approximate IP-derived city/region estimates, never GPS. Public markers require at least three cumulative daily visits. Medical Search Engine stores aggregate locations and short-lived keyed daily identifiers outside the public site, not raw IP addresses. Map boundaries are for orientation, not a statement of jurisdiction.
Visitor locations & map sources
Basemap: World Atlas, derived from Natural Earth public-domain map data. IP geolocation uses the same local database as To the Infinity.
