Community rules
This service is for adults aged 18 and over who wish to coordinate rides. Treat others respectfully. Do not post discriminatory, threatening, misleading or unlawful content. Do not share someone else’s contact information.
Before a trip
Drivers are responsible for their ability to drive, their vehicle, insurance and applicable requirements. Passengers and drivers should agree on pickup, timing, luggage and any contribution before leaving. Use public meeting places. Do not share a private home address in a ride description.
Email verification only confirms access to an email inbox. IICSM Carpool does not verify identities or driving credentials, conduct background checks, insure trips or guarantee a ride. It is not an emergency service. Use local emergency services if necessary.
Changes and cancellations
Check My trips before departure. Members can cancel and should communicate changes promptly. Blocking a member cancels your shared requests. Report concerns through Contact admin. Administrators may hide rides and suspend accounts.
Optional online payments
When online collection is enabled, funds go to the configured site operator’s Stripe account. Automatic payouts to drivers are not provided. Review the operator’s payment and refund terms before checkout; contact the administrator about cancelled paid rides. Turning collection off does not reverse payments or prevent already-open checkout sessions from completing.
